I windowws the same issue. HP EliteBook with centrino advance-n I let it upgrade to windows 10 through WiFi after reboot it shows connection to network but it wont actually connect. Went back to windows 8 then connected to Ethernet port and tried to upgrade again.

This time after it rebooted I let it finish then disconnected the Ethernet. The WIFI connection was working ok. So far 24 hours after still drver. In reply to IrvingAJ's post on August 9, Problem solved.
